The 2024 Ride Through The Rockies marks the 11th year of this event taking place! Last year, the Ride raised an incredible $275,000 for Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta, so this year the cyclists are challenging themselves to raise a record-breaking $300,000.
Cyclists will once again cycle through the Kootenay region of the Rockies, travelling many difficult, yet familiar paths as they aim to surpass the fundraising efforts of last year.
Since its inception, Ride Through The Rockies has raised over $1.3 million. Last year, thanks to generous community support like that of the Ride, 31 families took possession of their Habitat homes, giving them the opportunity to build long-term stability, invest in their futures, and create lasting benefits for their children.

About Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta
Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is a non-profit organization that brings the community together to help local families build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.
Families purchase their homes with no down payment and no interest, and mortgage payments never exceed 30 per cent of each family’s total household income.
Since 1990, Habitat has partnered with 385 families across Southern Alberta, affecting the lives of more than 1,150 children.
