I started riding in Ride Through the Rockies in 2019, and every year it has become more meaningful to me. What began as a big cycling challenge has turned into something I’m truly proud to be part of — a few days on the bike, surrounded by an incredible group of supportive riders & volunteers, many from across the building materials industry, all coming together for a cause that matters.

This ride is not easy, and that is part of what makes it special. There are long days, big climbs, tired legs, changing weather, and plenty of moments where the encouragement of the group makes all the difference. The camaraderie, generosity, and shared commitment from the riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters is what keeps me coming back.

Most importantly, Ride Through the Rockies supports Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta and helps local families build strength, stability, and independence through safe and affordable homeownership. The 2026 campaign goal is to raise $350,000, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute in my own way.
